Vintage Penrith week is all about celebrating Penrith, and its heritage. The history of Penrith is vast and areas of the town date back beyond 1700. For our theme this year we are looking back 100 years, which takes us into the Edwardian era, also known as ‘the Age of Elegance’ or ‘La Belle Époque’.

We would love you to consider dressing up to take part in some of our events, so we have put together a collection of notes with advice and pictures of costumes from the period and some ideas of where to get those extra touches to make you really look the part.
